Project Information Management System
This book encompasses the critical elements needed to design, implement, and manage a project information management system (PIMS), which unlike common misconceptions is not only about technology; but about all the processes and procedures required to ensure that the project team is capable of obtaining and producing the right information and making it available to the right people at the right time.

A PIMS is an integrated set of mutually supporting tools, processes, and methods for managing project information which should be applied in a consistent way to support the decision making and information needs of the project stakeholders.

"Project Information Management Systems" presents details of the critical elements required for a good project management information system with aid from real life examples, graphs, and charts to increase the understanding and application of the techniques and methods to improve the success of development projects.

Readers will develop a basic understanding of how a modern project management information system helps development organizations to plan and manage projects.
