Overview

Marcus Harvey created his first T-shirt in high school. Today, he's the founder and CEO of Portland Gear, one of the region's most respected apparel brands.

But the entrepreneurial journey is never that simple. Refreshingly honest and relatable, Product of the People shares the true story behind the brand-where it came from, what inspired it, and how it developed along the way.

Marcus was an insecure kid who knew nothing about art. He ruined his parents' carpet trying to print T-shirts. He got fired by a printing company. And his eventual triumph almost paralyzed him with panic attacks.

In Product of the People, Marcus Harvey bares it all-the good, the bad, and the unexpected-proving that truth really is stranger than fiction, that community is our greatest strength, and that every failure can be a new step on the road to success.
