About the Author

I am a U.S. Army Combat Veteran from Mississippi. Growing up, there were so many jobs and careers I wanted to explore and do. With the encouragement and support from my mom, dad, family and friends, I have been able to accomplish my goals. As a black female from Mississippi, I know how important it is to have role models and to have people that believe in you. I want to be that to the girls who do not have someone encouraging them. It has always been my dream to motivate, encourage and be an advocate for young girls and boys. I hope to do that not only through writing but through service as well.
