Rune left to look for his missing daughter, knowing she could be in danger. Sasha was left to face the return of her father, long thought dead. When Ruth Fleming uncovers a conspiracy within the ranks of the Maledectum, she ends up placing herself in danger, along with Ash Ludlow, thus endangering the lives of everyone connected to both.
