Overview

These beautiful decorative journals are made using handmade paper that is sprinkled with real flower petals.

To make each journal, sheets of handmade paper are submerged in water, and while the paper is in the water, the flower petals are sprinkled over it. Once the paper is lifted out of the water and the excess water drains away, the petals stick to the paper, and the paper sheets are hung to dry. The sheets are then cut and folded and handcrafted into these beautiful, small journals.

Fresh, seasonal flowers are used to make the journals, and the flowers are picked the same day that the paper is being made. Since each flower and petal is unique, and since the petals are sprinkled by hand on the sheet of paper, each journal has a unique sprinkling of petals, and no two journals look the same.
