Predicaments: Mostly True Hunting & Fishing Stories
It was very easy finding something the main character of this book is good at - his ability to get into predicaments. The unlikely resolutions of these predicaments make the story. He has a way of falling into a steamy pile of misadventures, but usually ends up coming out smelling OK. It isn't that big fish that you caught; or that huge buck - it's the exaggerated memories.

About the Author

Randy Williams lives in New London, Wisconsin. He has long been committed to conservation and outdoor recreation. Randy has an Associate Degree in Conservation, is a certified scuba diver, a licensed fishing guide, and a taxidermist with more than 30 years experience. He is or has been a member of: The Clintonville Fishing Club, Menomonie Bassmasters, Waupaca Bass Club, The Wolf River Bass Club, Spoonpluggers, Walleyes for Tomorrow, and The Wolf River Sturgeon Trail. He also maintains ties with: The Turkey Federation, Whitetails Unlimited, Shadows on the Wolf, and Ducks Unlimited.
Over the years he has won more than 40 fishing tournaments and has spent five years as a co-host on an outdoor TV fishing and hunting show called No Excuses. He has also been an outdoor columnist for The Waupaca County Post. He still works on promotional videos for hunting and fishing outfitters. Presently, he holds the record for the most fish species caught in the Wisconsin Natural Resources magazine for the multiple species category. His total is now 67 different species of freshwater fish caught.
For 30 years, Randy shared much of his knowledge of the outdoors with his students in his general shop class for the New London School District. His student's projects often included making fishing lures, turkey calls, deer stands, etc. He is now retired from teaching and enjoys fishing and hunting full time, often with his two sons, Shawn and Chad.
The sign on his front door states "A fisherman and the catch of his life live here." Kathy, his wife of more than 36 years, picked out the sign.
