Precious the Peacock learns the importance of listening while making cookies wih her mom. This short 10 page story makes for a great bedtime read and includes a recipe for (in my opinion) one of the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies you will ever eat! These stories were written with the intent to teach my 4 year old something I felt was important (what to do if you get lost, its important to clean up after yourself, how to share, why you should listen to your mother). Like most 3 and 4 year olds she practices what I call selective hearing, so I found that by incorporating an important message into a fun story she would listen. Now she is always repeating the"tag line" from each book as it applies in her life. Mission accomplished!
