About the Author

Johnny Harper’s vocational career began in 1961. He launched a specialized business servicing and rebuilding of diesel fuel injection pumps, J & H Diesel Services, in Greenville, Mississippi. Success from J & H Diesel spawned six other enterprises in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Today, the sixty-year old company is still providing specialized aftermarket diesel service and state-of-the-art technology to tractor dealers across the country.

Throughout Johnny’s sixty-six years of marriage to Bobbie Waller a marvelous collection of 14th thru 17th century Bibles were acquired from their travels to Europe, many from London, England. Now sixty-six years later, he is grateful that Bobbie, his wife, presented to him the artistic block print “Picture Bible”, PRECEPTIVE ILLUSTRATIONS OF THE BIBLE for Christmas in 1982.
