About the Author

In 2010, as Tom neared retirement from his career as a consulting ecologist, he slowly transitioned to his new career as, among other things, a political and social essayist. The rise of the new conservative movement provided momentum and soon, he was traveling the state of Florida on the speaker’s circuit. The most requested topics were about the United States Constitution and about the United Nations, its charter and its mission.

In this brief booklet, Tom presents the essence of his presentations on both of these topics. Underlying the couplet of essays is the struggle for dominance between the Constitution and the Charter. In these 8,416 words, according to one constitutional attorney who reviewed the essays, “Tom has explained the Constitution better than I’ve ever had it explained before.” Other attorneys commonly agree.
