Polymer People An Artist's Method Of Sculpting Hands & Feet In Polymer Clay

This is the second in the series of “Polymer People”. You learn about making your sculpting tools, proportions, the differences between male, female, children, and adult hands & feet.

I love the human form. There is so much about it that intrigues me. But when I went looking for a book on how to sculpt it in polymer clay, I had very few options. Those that I found were showing how to do character-type creations. I wanted something grounded in traditional fine art techniques. Things they would teach you in a life sculpting class if you were to use only polymer clay and not earthen clay.

She's tiny but mighty!

About the Author

Diane has wanted to make things for as long as she can recall. With experience teaching preschool through college-level students, she passionately shares her knowledge, skills, and sometimes twisted sense of humor. She currently lives in rural Kansas, where she creates art with a wide variety of mediums, and writes tutorials.

She is currently working on her debut cozy mystery, involving an artist, a murder, and a loveable inherited mutt with intestinal issues.
