Overview

Elizabeth Lee was born in a small town called Mansfield, Ohio and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she currently resides. As a very young child, she went through some things that no child should ever have to experience. Those experiences inspired her to do a lot of praying and a lot of talking to herself, and eventually she began to express herself through poetry.

A lot of the poetry she wrote as a young child was misplaced, but one poem she managed to keep a hold of, “God’s Gift,” was written at the tender age of nine and expresses the feelings she has about God. Throughout the years, Lee has written many poems expressing her faith in God and about relationships as well. Her hope is that others will be inspired by some, if not all, of her work, which was written to show that we all go through similar things throughout our lives that draw us closer to the Almighty.
