BOOK SUMMARY
This book is another part of my cleansing on my terms, in my own words, and on my time. I had no idea when I wrote these poems how much they would contribute to my journey on the road to restoration from decades of alcohol and drug use. I still celebrate the wonder of my day! Each evolution process reflects the awareness of my passion for my purpose and will continue to nurture my self-acceptance, self-care, and self-love!
AUTHOR'S BIO
Rhonda Williams was born and raised in New York City where she attended elementary and high school on the upper west side. After high school, she worked for various telecommunication companies as a telephone operator. Rhonda has also been involved with homebased business ventures. Since becoming a Reiki Practitioner (hands-on energy healing modality), she continues to explore spiritual classes, workshops, seminars, and any events involving New Age teachings. Rhonda's activities surrounding transformational education continue to grow in every way and every level, in every moment of her journey to becoming a restorational speaker. In the Spring of 2020, due to the pandemic, Rhonda retired full-time from her telecommunications position of 30 years. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because she was free to create her new life path and fulfill her passion as a poet, author, singer, songwriter, and spiritual agent. Rhonda desires to continue to share her stories of inspiration and healing using all of her talents on many different platforms.

The Evolution Process
First Process *** Awakening [More Storms = More Growth.]
Second Process *** Accepting [My best friend is right within.]

Fourth Process *** Allowing [All avenues can lead to peace.]
Spirituality is the essence of my evolution process.
As I evolve, I change my conscious and subconscious
thinking. This fuels my thirst for personal growth. This
process comes in stages that create my proetry.
First Process
Awakening {More Storms = More Growth}
Praise God through the pain ... the storms ... and the rain.
So Sorry I Didn't Know
So sorry I didn't know
How far away from You I had to go.
To realize all that I already had,
Instead always choosing to be sad.
Didn't know to be thankful, grateful, or even aware
That no matter what I did, You would always care.
Only complaining about what was not.
Year after year, didn't know how to stop.
I needed to have faith in my faith to pull myself along,
Holding on tight to Your love to keep me strong.
So now I know without a doubt,
And it is never too late to find You out.
I Need Peace From the Pain
Every step I make to being closer to victory,
There is no peace from the pain.
I cannot see a break for me.
I need peace from the pain.
Struggle too long, everything still going wrong.
Give me peace from the pain.
I continue to follow the words You show.
Still no peace from the pain.
Around the mountain and down below,
Where is the peace from the pain?
Grateful, thankful, hopeful,
Send me peace from the pain.
Help me now, Lord. I am not that tough.
I am ready for the peace from the pain.
I must confess, I will pass this test,
Then look back and know it was not all in vain.
Why Do I Keep Falling in the Well?
It is still dark and lonely; nothing has
changed since I was here last.
I tripped and fell yet again off my path.
My bumpy road with its twist and turns Seems
the only way I have chosen to learn.
Familiar surroundings, damp, dark, and bleak.
The part of me that feels undeserving wants to speak,
But it is still muff led by pain, and I'm afraid to take the leap,
The leap into the light because there waits my fate.
I know this cycle needs to break.
I try to continue my prayers and ask for grace
To take me and keep me from this awful place.
Why do I keep falling in the well?
It's all a part of the journey, and only time will tell.
Invisible in Your Own Light
Many around you may shout your praise.
Then suddenly there is silence for days and days.
Days turn into weeks, and weeks into months.
It happens when you only stand out front.
In front of the crowd, you stand proud,
Forgetting that there is always a cloud.
Clouds form storms that can wreak havoc in your life.
Be ready for the stress and strife. Use
this time to remember the truth
That the Holy Spirit is always in hot pursuit.
Try to continue your healing and move forward with grace.
Without God's love, the world is a lonely place.
Breathe in deeply and hold on to your dreams.
Exhale and release your fears; life is not always what it seems.
Acknowledge your accomplishments
and support your own rights.
If left undone, you will become invisible in your own light.
Wake Up the Warrior Within
The sleep of forgetfulness showed up and stayed.
Never have I been so dismayed.
It continued to block the light of Your love,
Rejecting rays of hope from above.
All my life I've known the strength You gave.
When I looked for it and needed it, it was hiding in a cave.
The cave of my soul snuggled safe as can be,
Waiting patiently for Your light to set it free.
Forgot who I was,
Forgot who to be,
Forgot why I came here and what you promised me.
Holy Spirit seeks me, so I open one eye.
Fear leaves me as I begin to cry.
It is the time to shine, and the honor is all mine,
To wake up the warrior within,
Announcing my rebirth and reconnection.
Second Process
Accepting {My Best Friend Is Right Within}
Don't just go through it, grow through it.
Mirror, Mirror
I will always love you no matter what you say or do.
We need each other more now than ever;
there is no time to be cute or clever.
The truth is here and staring us in the face. It
is the same yesterday, today, and always
and never to be erased.
Forgiving ourselves is a great start, knowing
that nothing can tear us apart.
Faith is constant, feels safe and warm, and
surrendering will do us no harm.
Accept the love and light trying to break through,
Awaiting the awareness of that magnificent you.
Our mirrored ref lection helps us find our voice
And reminds us that we always have a choice
To love each other as lifelong friends
Because learning and teaching never ends.
Shine a Spotlight on My Life
Shine a spotlight on my life.
Show me all the stress and strife
So it can continue to remind me how
I am too close to give up now.
Too much has been done.
Too many battles have been won,
Proving that You still remain supreme
No matter how hard things may seem.
Thanks for the good times, the storms, and the pain.
There were times I thought I would go insane.
My attitude of gratitude serves me proud,
Especially when I cry out loud!
You are my rock; never ever, ever stop.
In Step with Spirit
Salute yourself every day and on every level.
Embrace your gentleness and self-control.
Don't dance with the devil.
Never hold back thankful tears;
They are for your emotional release
And put in place to help find your peace.
Patience, love, and joy always lie at your feet.
Use your passions and desires to help feel complete,
Not for envy or deceit.
Learn to know your own worth.
Then celebrate your power and count your blessings every hour.
Breakdowns bring breakthroughs.
Breakthroughs bring breakaways.
Breakaways can save the day
And will keep you in step with Spirit all the way.
Letting Go
Mindfully I no longer live in the land of lack.
I'm fighting every day not to look back.
The old ways of wisdom continue to clash.
I must leave my stinkin' thinkin' in the past
To open doors for future bliss
And allow the happiness in my life to exist.
Through the door of my heart enters love, light, and truth.
My spirit smiles and shows all the proof.
The positive party begins right on time.
All souls are aligned with the Divine.
The splendor of Holy Spirit continues to show.
We have no reason not to let go.
Hold tight to your faith because it must be fed.
Remember to say our prayers before going to bed.
Pray for the world, knowing that we are all connected
And our lives will never be what we expected.
Reasons for the Seasons
Change is growth, and with growth comes pain.
Nothing can ever remain the same.
Our minds, bodies, and spirits evolve
Without our permission; we are not even involved.
We all play a role, everything in its place.
All beings share and occupy this space.
This cycle will continue long after we are gone.
Since we are living in the here and now, we have to be strong.
Have faith and know it is all part of the divine plan.
Decide now to take a stand,
A stand to bring your best game.
I guarantee you your life will change.
Let go and let God, not always easy to do,
But in our heart of hearts, we know it is true.
These are the reasons for the seasons.

Adhering {Pace Yourself to Enjoy Yourself}
Embrace and believe as you exploreyour truth.
Soul Food Supplement
Chew on the Word of God for your daily bread.
Take time to get to know Him, and you will never be misled.
Scriptures can be soulful vitamins; they
may help to light the way.
Trust in Him and His glory and learn something new every day.
Set your table with patience, perseverance,
and placemats woven of fine thread.
Always say a prayer for those not yet fed.
Accept this appetizer as my gift to you.
There are individual servings waiting too.
Raise a cup to salute your spirit that needs to be the boss.
Enjoy this creature of habit and proceed to the next course.
Defeating the Enemy
Taking baby steps in grown-up shoes,
Making sure the enemy will always lose.
Proving yourself to yourself leaves nothing to doubt
And makes it easier to keep the enemy out.
Mistakes make God love you more.
There are no challenges you cannot endure.
Perfect performances for Him are not needed.
Remember the enemy can always be defeated.
No longer fear your own magnificence;
Just celebrate and embrace its significance.
Put Your Armor On
Peace is a position of power.
Don't dismiss it; own it and feel it every hour.
Put your armor on and stand strong in your splendor.
To God and not the enemy you must surrender.
Use your own:
Crown of Confidence
Cloak of Clarity
Helmet of Hope
Ring of Righteousness
Shield of Faith
Sword of Salvation
Sandals of Peace.
These tools will help your faith increase.
Not writing this just for me;
The whole world needs to see
And continue to put your armor on to live free and stay free!
Release Another Layer to the Light
Bow down before God and let go; don't fight.
Faith is the refuge through long, lonely nights.
Be still and know that freedom is near;
it comes closer with every tear.
Angels and guides await our call because
alone we cannot do it all.
Our hearts are heavy, pain is real, and it
helps to remember we are a big deal.
With open arms I plead my case to send love into this space.
Brother Jesus walks with me to my holy place, and
we are proudly escorted by Mother Grace,
So let's make things right. It's time to
release another layer to the light.

Allowing {All Avenues Can Lead to Peace}
Freedom is a friendto the fearless.
Self-Love Is the Key
I address my weakness to conquer my fear. I make
it clear and stand right here in my greatness.
Focus on my dreams no matter how extreme, these
unlimited possibilities God has foreseen.
I open my heart and breathe in the light through
each chakra. Relax; no need to fight.
I bathe in the truth of my soul's desire, knowing
Mother Grace and her love never expires.
Let my spirit soar, it cries to be free.
Loving myself is the only key!
I Am the Light that I Seek
Always looking outward for the love and the peace I need,
Forgetting that to my Mother/Father God, I am the seed,
The seed that has been so carefully planted by my entire being.
And one of my assignments is to nurture it by seeing.
Seeing the beauty, love, and kindness
in everyone I meet and greet
Helps water my soul so I may feel complete.
Seeing and sharing my blessings are key every day,
Sometimes meeting my gratitude halfway.
I am the light that I seek!
By praising my triumphs and trials,
I continue to support my inner child.
Still I move forward with fear and doubt,
Looking for someone else to work it all out.
I must always look to the light within
Because there it waits for the reconnection,
And I ask Spirit to let that be my daily intention.
So the last thing that I must mention:
I am the light that I seek!
Message to My Creator
Today as I dine on divine daily bread.
I believe I am fully fed.
You guide me just where I need to be
So I can open my eyes and clearly see
This awesome life that gives me praise,
Including unlimited opportunities every day.
I am listening louder now. Faith is stronger.
Can't figure it out; will not try any longer.
Surrendering helps me to breathe in Your loving light,
Expanding my visions that explode during the night.
I handle life's challenges with taste and grace
To keep a happy smile upon my face.
Enjoy the journey with no worries or regrets.
Sit back and let You do the rest.
Path to Peace
Peace for me is walking in my truth,
Never having to appear aloof.
My feet are placed firmly on the ground; I
do not stumble when I try to turn around.
Turn around to address new challenges through lessons learned.
My fears are no longer my concern.
My voice is stronger, no longer a whisper.
It echoes loudly in my soul as a twin sister.
Abandoned but not forgotten, in my
mind I have survived my past,
Saluting my entire being as it arrives home at last.
Celebrate
As I wallow in my wonderfulness.
I see visions of things not yet addressed.
Treating myself like a guest in my own life
Allows me to release all darkness to the light.
Celebrate your self-love all day long; it helps to keep you strong,
Strong in knowing you are the best you can be.
Then every day you can grow naturally.
As a watered seedling, you rise to the sky,
never looking back or asking why.
Celebrate your richness as you explore your power.
You will be amazed by your beauty every hour.
Celebrate the dissolving of our she-gos and he-gos
by inviting Holy Spirit's love energy to f low
Into our minds, bodies, and souls in order to unite
And celebrate our oneness as a worldwide beacon of light.

Treating myself like a guest in my own life
Allows me to release all darkness to the light.
Celebrate your self-love all day long; it helps to keep you strong,
Strong in knowing you are the best you can be.
Then every day you can grow naturally.
As a watered seedling, you rise to the sky,
never looking back or asking why.
Celebrate your richness as you explore your power.
You will be amazed by your beauty every hour.
Celebrate the dissolving of our she-gos and he-gos
by inviting Holy Spirit's love energy to f low
Into our minds, bodies, and souls in order to unite
And celebrate our oneness as a worldwide beacon of light.
And so it is!
