About the Author

Monica Lynn Clements is a teacher and a writer who was born in East Texas. She is a graduate of Baylor University with a bachelor's degree in English and French. After working on Capitol Hill, she obtained her master's degree and teacher certification. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe and is an antiques dealer specializing in rare books.

Patricia Rosser Clements, born in Virginia, grew up in the Washington, D.C. area. Fate took her to East Texas where she met and married her husband. She has three children. A longtime collector of antiques and an antiques dealer herself, her other interests include art and design as well as photography. She is a perpetual student with a degree in business. Her passion for travel has taken her throughout the United States and Europe.
