About the Author

Jane Shore’s five books of poems have garnered the 1977 Juniper Prize, the 1986 Lamont Prize, and a 1996 National Book Critic Circle Award nomination. A Yes-or-No Answer (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) won the 2010 Poets Prize. Widely anthologized, her poems have appeared in The New Yorker and The Yale Review. That Said: New and Selected Poems will be published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in April 2012. A professor at The George Washington University, she lives in Washington, DC, and in Vermont.
