About the Author

Gail Mazur is author of six books of poems, including Figures in a Landscape (U. of Chicago Press), published in April 2011. They Can’t Take That Away From Me (U. of Chicago Press) was finalist for the National Book Award in 2001, and Zeppo’s First Wife: New and Selected Poems (U. of Chicago Press) won the Massachusetts Book Prize and was finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. She lives in Cambridge and Provincetown, and is Distinguished Writer-in-Residence at Emerson College.
