About the Author

Gary Soto is the author of forty-plus titles for children, young-adults, and adults, including Baseball in April (Houghton Mifflin), Buried Onions (Houghton Mifflin), Living up the Street (Dell), A Summer Life (Laurel Leaf), New and Selected Poems (Chronicle Books), and Human Nature (Tupelo Press). In 2011, he has two new books for middle grade readers: 13: Stories (Holiday House) and When Dad Came Back (University Press of New England), an ebook novella. The Gary Soto Literary Museum is located at Fresno City College.
