Overview

Alan Ciciarelli, a retired Senior Gaming Operations Inspector, dispels the myth that casino gambling is too complicated to be enjoyed. Going beyond strategy cards that just post the most logical outcome of a specific situation, this book teaches the novice and the experienced gambler how to maximize returns from the casino games blackjack, craps and roulette.

Bucking tradition, this guide puts the fun back in the game and money back in your pocket. Whether you go to a casino once a week or once a year, this book will give you insight on how to play without tedious tricks and memorization exercises which ultimately fail to put you ahead.

Anyone can benefit from this guide and enjoy the casino’s surrounding amenities without the apprehension of being out of your league. Let’s face it—losing your hard earned money is no fun at all.

About the Author

With over twelve years experience as a Senior Gaming Operations Inspector, coupled with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from Syracuse University, Alan Ciciarelli brings a unique perspective to the art of casino gambling.
Growing up in Solvay, a small village in upstate New York, back in the days when there was a bookmaker on every corner, he learned how to handicap horses and developed strategies for getting the best possible return for the least investment at a very young age.

Upon learning of a job opening in the New York State Racing and Wagering Board monitoring the gaming floor at Turning Stone Resort and Casino, he submitted a resume. He was hired less than a week after impressing the Board with his knowledge of casino games.

While in this position, Mr. Ciciarelli earned the respect of his peers with his ability to cite policy and gaming procedures, and was often given the responsibility of training new inspectors. He was given a certificate of appreciation from the New York State Executive Department Division of State Police for his “contribution to the mission of the State Police to enforce the law in casino facilities.”

Mr. Ciciarelli retired from this position in 2010 and still resides in Solvay, New York.
