Dr. A S Kapoor Professor, Department Of Plant Pathology CSKHPKV Palampur. He Completed His Ph.D. From IARI, New Delhi In 1980. He Worked On Epidemiology And Management Of Important Diseases Of Field Crops And Developed Online Rice Blast Forecasting By Creating Web Server.. He Was Involved In PG Teaching Especially Plant Disease Epidemiology And Advanced Plant Disease Epidemiology For More Than Two Decades And Guided Seven M.Sc And Two Ph.D. Students For Their Degrees. He Has Published More Than Eighty Research Papers And Eight Book Chapters And Participated In Various National And International Meetings, Conferences Etc. He Has Handled Four Ad Hoc Projects As PI. He Was Associated In The Identification And Release Of Six Varieties And Also Associated As Resource Person & Coordinator In The Training Program On Organic Agriculture. He Retired From University Service In Nov.2010 And Now Settled At Kullu (Himachal Pradesh). Dr. D K Banyal Is Associate Professor, Department Of Plant Pathology CSKHPKV Palampur. He Completed His Ph.D. In 1994. He Has Been Working On Epidemiology And Management Of Important Diseases Of Vegetable Crops And Involved In PG Teaching Especially Plant Disease Epidemiology For More Than Ten Years. He Has Handled Three Adhoc Research Projects As PI And Published More Than Forty Research Papers.
