PreS-K-In this adventure, Pig the Pug is dirty and smells terrible, but refuses to take a bath. When cornered, he manages to escape. He even hatches a devious plan to prevent any future baths, but his decision backfires on him. The text is playful and lyrical: "And once he had lost them, he used a small toy…to block up the pipes then he hooted with joy." Illustrations perfectly capture the mood of this title. Entertaining and lively, this title this will find an audience with Pig the Pug fans, dog lovers, and children who don't like taking baths. VERDICT Recommended for public and school libraries.-Robin Sofge, Prince William Public Library System, VA
