Amy Gates resides outside of Covington, Louisiana. She is married to husband, Thomas Gates. They have two grown sons, Timothy and Joseph, as well as a daughter -in -law Vanessa. Amy is a retired teacher of the gifted in St. Tammany Parish school system. Amy and Thomas are oblates of St. Joseph Abbey in Covington. They are also special friends of the Teresian Sisters of Covington Louisiana. Amy’s hobbies include reading, writing, prayer, and visiting with family and friends.
