About the Author

James Reich, M.D., MPH, is Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California Medical Center at San Francisco and an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the Stanford University Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Reich, a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, has also served as a Consultant to the State of California Corrections Department, and as a reviewer at a number of scholarly and professional journals. Dr. Reich is the Founder and Past President of the Association for Research in Personality Disorders (ARPD).
