ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dr. B. Gray Allison (1924-2019) served the Lord for over sixty-five years in ministry as a preacher, professor, and seminary president. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II, flying in the Pacific Theater of the war. His passion for evangelism led to a lifetime of sharing the gospel and teaching others to share their faith. With all of his many accomplishments, he most wanted to be known as a Baptist preacher.

ABOUT THE EDITOR: Michael R. Spradlin, PhD, is the author of Sons of the 43rd and numerous scholarly articles on church history, missions, and evangelism. He has edited and revised Beaman's Commentary on the Gospel of John and also Studies in Genesis: A Creation Commentary. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States and around the world. Dr. Spradlin serves as president of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, a role he has held for over twenty years. He is a member of Mid-America's church history faculty and chair of the evangelism department.
