It was a random evening while Kiara was asleep when she was 12, that she had a dream. It was so vivid that she remembered detail for detail, when she woke up she wrote it all down. Back then, she was unsure of the talent she was blessed with.
The 3 three ring spiral notebooks she wrote the story in, were passed around throughout the class and then to other classmates in other classes. So much they were begging for more. Kiara was thrilled that something she had created was getting recognition. She’s always been behind the scenes with everything and tried staying out of the limelight anyway she could. She didn’t like attention…. But this piece of art was created over a course of 10+ years. Kiara spent days and nights working to bring together this final project. She’s finally ready to share her story with the world. She feels someone, somewhere could relate and/or could use a little encouragement of “It’s Okay to Start Over”.
She buried herself in relationships, giving her all, losing or never even really knowing who SHE was to begin with. As she entered a new journey she began to grow and learned to love and value herself more than she had been. Some may understand and others may not. Nobody’s perfect; and that’s where Perfectly Imperfectly resonated from.
