About the Author

Hildie S. Block is a writer living in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and two daughters, black cat, hedgehog (yes, a hedgehog), guinea pig and extremely large and intelligent goldfish who is the braintrust of the family. Her book Not What I Expected came out in 2007 and since then she’s been mostly leading creative writing workshops in Northern Virginia and herding cats, uh, children to and from interesting activities. She’s published about 50 short stories, but this is her first e-book.
