About the Author

Amy A. Corron is a former award-winning Army jounralist who met and married her husband, Mark, while in the service. They are the proud parents of 3 adult children. The youngest of 7 girls, Amy credits her mother with instilling in all of her daughters a great love of the written word, and she dreamed of a career in writing most of her life. She and her husband reside in southeaster Michigan with their 2 beagles. Although she loves to travel, Amy's favorite place is the tiny northern Michigan town of Atlanta, where she has spent summers since childhood. She and Mark own a vacation home there and she has chosen it as the setting of her Northwoods Adventures Series. When not writing, Amy enjoys teaching preschool, cooking, scrapbooking and spending time hiking in the north woods.
