About the Author

Zachary King grew up in Ventura, California, with a love for listening to stories, art, surfing, golfing, fishing, and camping. When he was little, his father, William, would make up fun stories to tell him and his siblings, Courtney and Sean, to entertain them. He loved listening to his father's stories and imagining all of the characters going on adventures. His mother, Gudrun, read stories to Zachary and his siblings every night too, and he remembers thinking about being an author when he grew up. With his love for art, he continued to take art classes even when he was in college at Cal Poly, SLO. After he was married to his wife Staci, he continued doing his art as a hobby by drawing pictures for his family members. When he got older, he found himself reading bedtime stories to his own children Leanna and Zoey, and it inspired him to combine his love for stories and art to create his own books for others to enjoy.
