Overview

In this story Pelly is an ASTRONAUT, and a funny one at that. Where we've seen Pelly's unique personality in previous books, it surfaces in full force as he tries to control everything going on in his space adventure. From lift-off until he reaches his destination; his challenges are many. Just how Pelly deals with these challenges will not only keep your attention but will inform you of some of what you can expect to happen in space. There are many facts along with good practical information shared in the book.
Pelly's adventure is educational, funny, and just a lot of fun to read. I feel Pelly and the Plutonians will be a valuable learning experience as well as an enjoyable one.

About the Author

‘Pelly and the Plutoniuns’ is my seventh story. My other stories include “Laurel and Her House of Coral’,
Jim Palmieri
‘Pelly the Pitching Pelican’, ‘Three Weeks in Women’s Shoes’, ‘Why is That Penguin Wearing Glasses’, ‘Dad I Want a Pet’, and ‘Fred the Snail’.
The Plutoniuns were created by my beautiful and talented Grand Daughter Lucy Holloway. Lucy loves writing, drawing, singing and dancing. This book was illustrated by our very good friend Hope Richardson Fahey. Her attention to detail, and the humor that she adds to every picture, never ceases to amaze me. She is my hero. This is our fifth book together.

Another delightful endeavor with the very talented author, Jim Palmieri. Pelly has ‘grown up’ from our first book and has almost become part of my daily life. He’s like my child now...
It has been so much fun taking Pelly through his escapades and this one especially. What a good way to get through the ’20-21 Pandemic’ – to be able to laugh as I figure out a way to get Pelly where the creative author’s mind takes him.
I would like to dedicate my efforts in this special book to my son, Chris Fahey, his wife, Felicia, and my talented grandchildren, Brianna, C.J., and Landen. The three kids gave me their great insight in many of my drawings. All 5 of them bravely came through the Covid-19 virus and recovering as I write this. I dedicate my efforts in this book, also, to my many friends and relatives who contracted the virus, and especially to those who did not come through.
