Overview

English Translation: I came to Comala looking for a man that says that he is my father: Pedro Desert... Thus this history begins, masterpiece of the writer jaliscience Juan Rulfo, who in each passage reflects the misery of an almost fantasmal town; Comala, that could well be anyone in this country. Pedro Desert is a mixture of real and the fantastic thing, with a little common vigor and a strange force, with elementary personages, without joy nor generosity, plenty of greed, lujuria and remorse, with dark passions. One of the most remarkable works of this century XX.
