Pedophilia: A Cause and a Cure
This is an autobiography with a serious purpose.

It is an orphan's 70 year quest for a family. Follow me through two orphanages in Pennsylvania from the age of 2 until the age of 14 when I ran away and lived on the streets of Philadelphia.

A stint in the US Air Force is followed by a concurrent pursuit of education including law school while working as a conductor on the railroad and publisher of a small town newspaper. Many relationships are attempted but none succeed.

A despicable crime earns me a punishment of a 20 year sentence in Folsom State Prison in California. Considered the most violent US prison in the 80s, cunning, luck and faith allow me to survive.

Following an early release I spend almost twenty years as a public servant, using computer skills I initially learned before leaving the prison system.

The essence of my life story is to try to find the answers to two questions society's experts have been unable to answer.

Those two questions haunt society: What is the cause and what is the cure for pedophilia?

If the experts read my autobiography. I believe they will find an answer to each as I have by re-living my life through this writing.

Because of the content of this unique book, there is a printed warning that must be read before reading my life story.

This book is intended for open-minded adults, parents, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, law enforcement and justice officials and perhaps Christians who are ready to hear the mother of all testimonies.

But it is especially directed at those persons on the verge of committing the same crime for which I spent a frightening time in prison in the hope that they will not repeat my mistake and ruin their life or create a victim which is so much worse.

At times it is both funny and serious. The reader may cry or get angry.

Whatever else it may be, it is an education that may not be available anywhere else.

Thanks for sharing my life.

About the Author

Born out of wedlock, I was the thirteenth dhild of a dysfunctional family and was deposited in St. Francis Orphan Asylum in Orwigsburg, PA at the age of two.Physical and emotional abuse were the norm.

At the age of twelve I was sent to St. Joseph's House for Homeless and Industrious boys in Philadelphia. Sexual abuse by a Catholic layman convinced me I could do better living on the streets of Philadelphia.

A stint in the USAF is followed by association with Young Republicans, both of which provided a little higher education than that available on the streets of Philadelphia.

In my thirties I was in law school, publishing a small town newspaper and working as a conductor on Southern Pacific Railroad.

Failing at all three I was sentenced to twenty years for child molestation. I survived Folsom State Prison and became a public servant for the State of California.

Currently live in a very small Oregon town of Christmas Valley. I am retired but market large panoramic photographs I print on canvas which I created when visiting National Parks.
