About the Author

Marta Curti grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Communications & Creative Writing from Pepperdine University. Her poems and feature articles have been published in various magazines and journals. This is her first book for children.

Linda Hunter paints wildlife, birds, and scenes of nature in acrylic and watercolor. Her original paintings can be found in galleries in Colorado and Louisiana, as well as private collections around the world. She has a degree in visual art from the University of Northern Colorado. She is married, with two sons and two beautiful grandchildren.
