Overview

Derek is the photographer for his school newspaper. As a loner, he is subject to much ridicule from the other students. After an unfortunate incident involving one of the well-known basketball players, Derek endures daily torture at the hands of the team. He desperately wants to end the bullying, and looks for a solution. Derek thinks he has found it in a book about animals. His plan will be revealed at the big game, and prove how deadly bullying can be.

I am a wife and mother of two. My son DJ is 3 and my daughter Devyn is 1. Besides writing, my other hobby is playing basketball. My husband played professionally for one season with the Harlem Ambassadors. I am a sixth grade math/science teacher. Math and language arts are my favorite subjects. I love writing. As a child, I was very quiet and shy. I realized that I could express my feelings through writing. I have written over 100 poems. My dream is to publish a novel.
