Overview

Pat the Robot creates a group chat to share some great pictures she took. It doesn’t take long until the group chat has an unwelcome visitor, Mean Maisie. Maisie alters images of Pat and shares them to the group chat for everyone to see. All the other classmates think its’s funny, but poor Pat can’t find the courage to go back to school. Pat’s friends try to help her, but its not enough to make Maisie stop.

There are many dangers that face children in the current online sphere, and Margaret creates child-friendly picture books to address these issue, including online grooming, social media use, cyber bullying, and more. Margaret has over decades of teaching experience and has been a cybersafe expert for over 10 years. As a concerned educator, Margaret realised that there were scarce child-friendly books out there that address these prominent issues. The horrifying truth is, children are caught up in these horrific issues more than we think, and the issue is becoming easier access due to unsupervised online access.
