This collection of short fiction and poetry features a vast array of characters outside the norm and on the edge of society. "Tesha the Cat" is the multiple point-of-view tale of a young mother's struggle to avoid raising her daughter in the image of her hedonist mother. "The Disentegrator" is the story of a strange, bullied boy's rise to heroism and subsequent fall in coming to terms with himself. "Stoic Vale" is the story of a stubborn and lonely man who falls in love with the angel of death amidst the frozen wasteland that is the United States. These and other stories, as well as several poems, often center around the pain and internal strife of trying to adhere to expectations of man's society.

Oshu Huddleston is a short-fiction writer and poet. he is a student of Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus. He has had a wide variety of interesting career experiences, from professional wrestler to pizza chef, from security agent to computer hardware technician...but has always pursued his love for writing. As of 2012, he lives in Indianapolis with his wife and is working on multiple novels.
