About the Author

KJWhite is an author and artist born and raised in the metroplex of Dallas, Texas. Having been born a twin an with two older twin brothers as well, he was no stranger to adversity and hardships. He and his brothers found themselves having to grow up rather quickly as their parents struggled with drug addiction and street life on a daily basis, leaving those watching from the outside in to constantly count out the four brothers for the sins of their parents. However, KJWhite beat the odds and found himself graduating from college with a degree in psychology. Growing up, his outlet was always his pen and notebook, as he always found himself writing and expressing his hurts and joys through poetry. He taught high school for a short while, but eventually found a home in writing full time.
