About the Author

Robert H. Sarkissian grew up in the Boston area. His first book of humor, "Squibbed! Satires and Other Oddities," was released in 2010, followed by a book of poetry, "The Wind Coughed at Dawn," in 2011. Book number three, "Packing Parachutes the Mini-Musical," is a return to satirical stories and humorous anecdotes, written in 2014 and inspired by working with the Army.

His latest (July 2017) book of poetry, "Pray for Five, Write for Five," is a collection of works dealing with struggle, faith, loss, and hope, punctuated by humor. Some poems are devotional Christian, others deal with the death of his mother, and the love for his wife.
