Andrée Decarie is a chartered public accountant and a visionary IT pratictioner. Her participation in economic fraud investigations and analysis of information systems controls has conducted her to become an EDP auditor (Electronic Data Processing). She pursued her career with several international companies implementing information systems.
Her passion for the energy industry has led her to be involved in several mandates for these corporations.
She taught at the University of Montreal. She has lectured at the Institute of Internal Auditors and at Concordia University on various issues related to Information Technology security controls.
Her 30 years of experience allowed her to better understand the geopolitical issues of energy which explains her ability to clearly communicate on the oil peak. During her career she has traveled in North America, Central America, Africa and Europe. She holds a bachelor's degree in Public Accountancy from Ec ole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, University of Montreal and a licensed Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. She also has an Information Technology certificate.
