The Brothers Grimm, Jacob (1785-1863) and Wilhelm (1786-1859), were born in Hanau, near Frankfurt, in the German state of Hesse. he brothers, German academics, were best known for publishing their collections of folk tales and fairy tales. These are the real Grimm fairy tales, all stories are by the Brothers Grimm. Some of the stories are scary Grimm stories and others are just cute!
