About the Author

Film writer and historian Howard Hughes is the author of Aim for the Heart: The Films of Clint Eastwood (I.B. Tauris) and of the Filmgoers' Guide series, When Eagles Dared, Crime Wave, Once Upon a Time in the Italian West and Stagecoach to Tombstone (all from I.B. Tauris).
