About the Author

David and Christy Hinkson have been married for 25 years and are the parents of 10 children. They reside in Northern Utah where David practices as a Periodontist. They met and married while attending Brigham Young University where they graduated together. Christy obtained a degree in Family Living and David graduated in Spanish. He continued his schooling at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he obtained a DDS degree and then specialized in Periodontics.

The couple started their family with twin girls who now are each married and the mothers of 2 children each. The family continued to grow and they were blessed with 8 children. Recently they adopted 2 boys from Ukraine. Their life experiences have given them a view of family life from many different angles. Christy was named Young Mother of the Year and was named a Utah Merit Mother by Governor Michael Leavitt.

David and Christy own and operate a record label and music distribution company, HeartRise Music. They enjoy traveling, speaking and writing. Christy has had nearly 100 songs published and recorded and is the author of other books and E-books. Both David and Christy agree that they find their greatest fulfillment in their home and family.
