Other Worlds. Throne of the Soul. Book 2

After entering the military academy as Cores, Zima and Vera face not only the privileges of their new positions, but also misfortune. Namely: their dear friend Mira dies tragically...
In the Alliance, Avril also becomes a cadet at the military academy. During her summer internship, the prototype fighter she was in goes off course and crashes. What will happen to her next? Will she die or be captured by the Confederation's forces?
Meanwhile, the deity of the planet Geba, Thoth, remembers his past. The story of his birth, how the world was very young, and about his meeting with the golden-haired Princess from the depths of space...

Excerpts from the book:
...At the sight of Olivier, the ruler of Seltsam, the ‘Mad Artist’, smiled. And he began to speak in a soft voice. He spoke the language of Lutetia with a slight accent, saying that he sincerely admired Olivier as an engineer. And therefore, he ordered to be brought to the Castle in the Forest.
Unable to contain his righteous indignation, Mr. Edelweiss cried out:
“Your Majesty Kaiser Wilhelm! Even though you are the ruler of Seltsam, this does not give you the right to kidnap and castrate people!”
“Of course not,” Wilhelm answered in surprise. “That’s why no one knows about this place. You and other scientists will live here until old age and do science for the benefit of my great Kingdom of Seltsam....”

...Avril did not immediately realize that something was wrong with the aircraft, but only when she heard Ivars’ voice in the speaker:
“Blizzard-15, you are deviating from the previously planned course. And the speed is higher than necessary!”
“What? But the navigator shows that everything is correct... And the speed also seems to be fine...” the girl was surprised.
“Blizzard-15, check your navigation devices again! Tell me what they show!”
“Yes sir! Speed...” Avril gave the speed and course coordinates.
Ivars listened carefully. There was silence in the speaker for some time. The girl wanted to ask what was happening, when the Head of the Test Flight Department said:
“According to you, everything is fine. However, our locators show that your speed is higher, and you are increasingly deviating from the desired course. There's probably a problem with the prototype.”
“What are your instructions?” Ms. Edelweiss couldn't help but feel frightened. But realizing that panic would not help her, she tried to control herself.
“Blizzard-15, listen carefully. Try to slow down and correct your course according to my instructions...”

All the time that he spent on his planet, Thoth wanted to see other Guardians and talk with them. But now that they appeared before him, he did not know how he should behave.
Meanwhile, the Guardians came to his aid, speaking first:
“I am Atum,” said the woman with golden skin. “I am the Guardian of the first planet from the local Sun.”
“I am Tefnut,” said the girl with dark short hair. “I am the Guardian of the third planet from the local Sun.”
“And what is your name?” they asked in one voice.
“I am Thoth...” came the confused answer. “I am the Guardian of this second planet...”
His words sounded confused and uncertain. For the first time in so many long centuries, he felt timid and embarrassed. It was the first time he had spoken to someone intelligent and like him.
***
“Geba...” Thoth said to himself. “While visitors are looking around here, I want to see her in reality. She should be on their spaceship, in the golden disk...”
Thoth, invisible to the guests from the depths of space, passed by them. And he went inside their golden spaceship. There he found himself in a spacious room with doors. From the memories of the alien souls, the Guardian knew that behind one door was the navigation room, behind the others were the crew cabins, utility rooms and the entrance to the lower deck.
