About the Author

Myrna Oakley, who has traveled the byways of the Pacific Northwest for decades, is also the author of Washington Off the Beaten Path. She teaches writing at local colleges and universities in the Portland environs.

Reviser Kim Cooper Findling is a fifth-generation Oregonian. She is the editor of Bend Magazine and the publisher of Dancing Moon Press. She lives in Bend, Oregon with her husband, three children and two cats.


Kim Cooper Findling is the editor of Central Oregon Magazine and the author of Day Trips From Portland: Getaway Ideas for the Local Traveler and Chance of Sun: An Oregon Memoir.
