Kass Code, Illustrator of "Opal's Upside-Down Dilemma," is native of Sheboygan, WI. She is a self-taught artist, mother of two beautiful children, wife to a loving and supportive husband, nature enthusiast, creative writer, biking fanatic, collector of oddities, and an advocate for mental health. She is currently working part time as a cake decorator, part time as an artist, and is a full-time student. She enjoys many hobbies, crafts, and art mediums including pyrography, watercolor, pen and ink, cookie and cake decorating, chalk art, colored pencil, acrylic paint, and needle felting. When she isn't crafting and creating you can probably find her in the forest where she loves camping, hiking, archery, flow arts, fishing, and spending time with her family.
