APRIL 2011 - AudioFile

The futuristic concepts in this sci-fi story are new and original. Author Stephen Tunney succeeds in creating a world that seems frighteningly plausible. One in a while, Earth's lunar colonists are born with an ocular disease that allows them to see a previously unknown fourth primary color and to see through time itself. They must wear special lenses because looking into their unprotected eyes can cause insanity. When Hieronymus Rexaphin falls in love, he wants a full life and is willing to expose the moon's dirty secrets to do it. Narrator Andy Paris is remarkable performer who brings young Hieronymus to life, making his bizarre world as real as our own. Listeners will care deeply about the boy with the strange eyes.
