One Heartbeat Away
People have asked me, since I talk to a lot of people and do a lot of witnessing, to write a book based on my conversations with lost people, specifically to those who are seeking and searching--a book that would anticipate their questions and speak to their objections. One Heartbeat Away is exactly that.

So many lost people I've talked to want to know, "Is this all a blind faith issue, or can it be a legitimate, calculated leap of faith?" This book provides answers to that question as well as the following:

* Can you prove there is a God?
* Doesn't evolution disprove the existence of God?
* Can you prove the Bible true?
* What is out there after I die?

All of this information is laid out in a reader friendly style, just as in my first book, One Thing You Can't do In Heaven. There are many exciting stories you haven't heard before--from near death experiences, to what certain celebrities believe, to a guy who is a building jumper. He actually jumps from building to building for fun. Of course, I asked him if he had ever missed before! What if I told you his answer was, "Yes."

Even though this book is written to address issues of sharing with the nonbeliever, it will also be good for those of you who want to be armed with answers to the questions that you know you're going to get when you are out there sharing and witnessing. You can now have the ammunition to answer their questions, with strong evidence.

About the Author

Mark Cahill has a business degree from Auburn University, where he was an honorable mention Academic All-American in basketball. After spending a few years in the business world, he surrendered his heart to Jesus Christ and asked God to place him where he could touch as many lives as possible. Within a year, he was teaching school. Although Mark planned to teach for the rest of his life, God moved him from teaching at a Christian high school to devoting a year to full-time evangelism. He then embarked on a speaking career. Mark speaks to thousands each year at churches, retreats, conferences, camps, etc., equipping and challenging the saved to go out and reach the lost. As one of his students noted, he's still teaching, but in a much bigger classroom.
His true vocation is witnessing, whether at malls, music and art festivals, beaches, sporting events, bar sections of towns—wherever the lost can be found. Mark is the author of One Thing You Can’t Do in Heaven which has been translated into Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Romanian and is being translated into Nepalese, and One Heartbeat Away. Mark lives in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
