Overview

The stories in ONE BAD FALL are autobiographical and inspired by the authors time in the military as well as works of fiction that explore the toll a soldier faces when they arrive home.

"One Bad Fall" is the autobiographical account of Steven Craighead. It recounts his time assigned to 1st Special Forces Group an airborne unit located in Washington State and the fall that ended his military career.

"Broken" is the story of a veteran discharged from the military struggling to find their place in the world and failing to see how they contribute to society. It is a story that looks at the mental health issue that veterans face after leaving the armed services.

"The Plan" is a comedic story involving four friends executing a military like operation. If everything goes off without a hitch it'll be mission accomplished.

"What Morning Brings" What happens when you wake up unsure how the day will go? Three men, one young, one in his prime and one in his twilight question how they've lived their lives.

Steven Craighead is a Comic Book Writer who specializes in Action, Adventure, Science Fiction and Fantasy. A Millennial born in 1990 who grew up watching Saban’s Power Rangers, staying up late and watching dubbed Godzilla movies on the Sci-Fi Channel and racing home to watch anime on Toonami. Steven Craighead is an Army Veteran and after serving his country pursued his dream of working in the Film industry graduating from Full Sail’s Film Program in 2020 at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2023 Steven returned to Full Sail to obtain his bachelors degree in Creative Writing.
