About the Author

Emilio Aguirre is a jack of all trades, a software developer by profession but a creative by passion. He likes to draw, illustrate, write short stories, computer animation, and make things in 3D. "Once upon... at the Diner" is a short story for kids and grown-ups, who believe that imagination and incredible things can happen every day in the most unexpected places. For this project, he partnered with his daughter Marina.

Marina Aguirre is a passionate Mexican illustrator. Born in Xalapa, Mexico but lived most of her life in Montreal, Canada. She likes to tackle new challenges and explore various ways to be creative. She is always ready to start new projects and meet new people. She is known to be detailed oriented, curious, and open-minded!
