About the Author

Christine began self-publishing in January 2014, starting with a short story and then finding a liking for writing flash fiction.

Although she has been writing for many years, it is only now that Christine has had the courage to publish and share her work with the world. Christine has also written some poetry and is working on a novel. She is the author of seven short eBooks - all available free on Smashwords. Christine also tweets "Very Short Stories" (#vss) on Twitter, and has collected these, with illustrations, into three books.

If you would like to know what authors Christine reads, her Smashwords profile shows some fellow authors she has come across here, and some mainstream authors are "liked" on her Facebook page, Christine Brand - Author.

From South London / Surrey, Christine served seven years as a Medical Assistant in the Royal Air Force, subsequently working for the NHS. She is now hoping to pursue a career in motor mechanics. Christine is also a voluntary member of staff with the Air Cadet Organisation.

Christine enjoys writing, painting and other creative crafts and creates all her cover art herself.
