About the Author

Barrie Kosky is one of Australia's most controversial theater and opera directors. He directed Euripides’s The Women of Troy for the Sydney Theatre Company and a stage adaption of the Edgar Allan Poe’ short story The Tell-Tale Heart for the Melbourne International Arts Festival. He has been appointed chief director at the Komische Oper in Berlin commencing in the 2012/2013 season.
