About the Author

Stephen William Bartlett began his interest in writing in high school, composing short stories and poetry for the school's literary magazine. After a year as its editor, he went on to college with the intention of pursuing creative writing. Economics, however, dictated otherwise and he found himself majoring in Biochemistry, which ultimately culminated in a PhD in that same field. Hired as a clinical laboratory manager, he eventually migrated to programming laboratory instruments and from there to image programming for Nuclear Medicine and Radiology. In 2010 he was lured back into creative writing from an incident in his younger teenage son's life, which formed the outline for his first novel, published in 2017. Following retirement from his technical profession, he has produced over ten additional books, a collection of poetry, and an author website () to highlight his published and unpublished works.
