About the Author

Raised in a single parent household, Tammy knows what hard work, perseverance, and the entrepreneurial spirit can do for an individual. Tammy's mother was and is her best example. From an early age, Tammy had all three of those attributes. She held mini carnivals in her backyard as a preteen and, as an adult, grew her advertising, marketing, design firm to one of the Richmond, VA area's largest advertising agencies as mentioned in Richmond's Inside Business' Book of List. In addition to running her various businesses, Tammy acts, models, is an author and publisher of many books including scrapbook idea books, a romance novel, Sugar Hill Beach. She also wrote and published Turning “No” Into Know How: Getting Published, the first in a series of Turning “No” Into Know How books. Community minded, she is and continues to be involved in numerous business, civic, and charity organizations. For her many efforts in these endeavors, she has received numerous awards.
